Replacement cycle of filter cartridge
There is no fixed time for how often to replace the filter element. It mainly depends on the actual usage situation. When the water quality significantly decreases, the filter element needs to be replaced. If it is necessary to say how long to replace, the replacement time is about 6-8 months.
The filter is equipped with a precision filter element, which generally adopts external pressure. Water passes through the small micropores of the filter element and enters the center pipe of the filter element to discharge water. The micropores intercept small impurities in the water quality, and the main factor in intercepting impurities is determined by the aperture of the filter element. And the filter element needs to be replaced after a period of use.
How often should the filter element be replaced? There is no fixed time for the service life of precision filter elements. How long it takes to replace mainly depends on whether the usage process is standardized and whether good maintenance is carried out.
Filter element needs to be replaced
There are generally several situations where the filter element needs to be replaced:
1. The filter element is deformed or damaged
2. When the precision filter's filtration accuracy decreases and cannot meet the effluent requirements
3. The system's water output does not meet the standard, etc
The general reasons for frequent replacement of filter cartridges are
1. The raw water quality is unstable and fluctuates frequently, resulting in excessive particulate matter entering the filter element and shortening the cycle.
2. The pre-treatment operation has poor performance, and the flocculants, scale inhibitors, etc. added to the pre-treatment are incompatible with each other or do not match the water source, resulting in viscous substances adhering to the surface of the filter element, leading to effective filtration of the filter element
3. The quality of the filter element is poor. The inner and outer apertures of the poor quality filter element are basically the same. In fact, only the outer layer plays an interception role, while the filtering aperture of the good filter element decreases step by step from the outside to the inside. The filtering accuracy of the inner layer is 10 µ m, with a larger pollutant holding capacity. It can ensure that the effluent quality is qualified even after a long time of use.
