Customization factors for oil filter cartridges
The selection and design of filter elements need to consider the actual needs of the hydraulic system, such as the system's working pressure, working temperature, flow rate, oil type, etc. At the same time, the filter element also needs to be replaced and cleaned regularly to maintain its filtering effect.
Filter cartridges are usually made of specialized filtering materials such as stainless steel, fiberglass, synthetic fibers, etc., which have good filtering performance and high temperature and corrosion resistance. The structure of a filter cartridge usually includes filter material, support frame, end cap, and sealing ring. The filter material is responsible for filtering impurities, while the support frame ensures the stability of the filter element.
Hydraulic oil filter plays an important role in hydraulic systems, and its main functions include the following aspects:
1. Filter liquid pollution: It can also filter out liquid pollutants in hydraulic oil, such as moisture, acid, alkali, etc. These pollutants may reduce the performance of hydraulic oil, thereby affecting the normal operation of the system;
2. Filter solid particles: It can filter out solid particles in hydraulic oil, such as iron filings, sediment, dust, etc. These particles may cause wear or blockage in the system, leading to system failure or damage.
3. Protect the hydraulic system; It can effectively protect the hydraulic system and avoid unnecessary wear and damage. By filtering out solid particles and liquid pollutants, it can ensure that the hydraulic system is always in the best external dry state, extending the system's lifespan and reducing maintenance frequency.
If precision filters are used solely for the cleanliness of the oil, it will inevitably increase operating costs.
(1) Add a preheating oil tank to increase temperature and reduce viscosity.
(2) Increasing the axial pressure allows oil to pass through the filter screen quickly, but it often causes damage to the filter element.
(3) The filter element is often clogged and needs to be cleaned frequently until it is replaced.
Customizing hydraulic oil filter cartridges requires consideration of the following key factors:
1. Working pressure: The filter element needs to be able to withstand the working pressure of the hydraulic system without causing the filter element to rupture due to excessive pressure.
2. Traffic; The filter element needs to be able to withstand the working flow of the hydraulic system without causing pressure drop or damage to the filter element due to excessive flow.
3. Size: The size of the filter element needs to be customized according to the specific dimensions of the hydraulic system to ensure that it can fit and be installed correctly in the filter.
4. Filter material: The material of the filter element needs to be able to withstand the chemical properties and temperature of hydraulic oil. Common choices include stainless steel, fiberglass, synthetic fibers, etc.
5. Filtering accuracy: This is the size of the smallest impurity particles that can be filtered out by the filter, usually measured in micrometers (m). Different oil models may have different requirements for filtration accuracy, and the accuracy of oil filters may also vary depending on viscosity. Therefore, customization is needed according to specific application needs.
