SD-718 series coalescer cartridge filter is used to help utilities reduce expenses and increase efficiency when processing oil. DKFILTER makes the replacement of Parker & Velcon cartridges SD-718 and many other different brands coalescer and separator of PECO&FACET,FAUDI,Pall to be used dissolved water removal from insulating oil is now possible without the need for heat and vacuum oil processing systems.Specifically developed for dehydrating oil to be used in transformers.

Structural Components:

We make SD-718 coalescing filter cartridge made of high quality CarboMax. Manufactured from CarboMax cans contain 100% virgin granular activated carbon made from coal, which undergoes a high-temperature steam activation process under strict quality control. CarboMax carbon outperforms carbon made from a blend of shells, ash and recycled carbon to create coalescer filter cartridges that extend service life, process performance and product quality.

Notes:

• SD-718 Series cartridges are not designed for particulate removal.

• If free water is suspected, the oil should be prefiltered using Velcon Aquacon elements.

• Prefiltering through Velcon 1/2 micron elements is recommended if particle contamination is suspected.

• SD-718 Series cartridges are not recommended for cost effective removal of free water in insulating oil.
