This standard series high flow coalescing element removes ultrafine solids and enhances the separation of water from jet fuel. JPMG-536-R fuel coalescer filter cartridges have field-proven performance and use a cell construction to reduce the number of gasket seals, improving overall reliability. The largest single application for the JPMG-536-R filter is the filtration of aviation jet fuel. It is also used for other types of fuels, process flows in refineries and petrochemical plants, and condensate streams used to produce natural gas.

Work principle:
JPMG-536-R high-efficiency coalescers merge small droplets of liquid into larger ones as the fluid stream passes through several layers of filter media,each with progressively larger pores.
As droplets compete for the open pores,they coalesce forming larger droplets.These larger droplets are easier to separate from the continuous phase fluid.
The JPMG-536-R coalescer size and type are determined by numerous factors:physical properties of the fluid,flow rate,process conditions and chemical compatibility with process fluids and additives.
