PPL-230-AB-20E PPL series gas fuel separator filter cartridge elements are used to remove deformable and shear-sensitive contaminants from natural gas streams. Made using the patented PEACH process. Synthetic construction allows for an environmentally friendly product and is an excellent upgrade option to traditional fiberglass cartridges. PPL-230-AB-20E gas fuel separator belongs to the coalescing separator category, coalescing and separating into larger water droplets to achieve further purification of the medium.

Work principle:

PPL-230-AB-20E high-efficiency separator filter combines small droplets into larger one when the liquid flow passes through multiple layers of filter media,and the pore size of each layer of filter media gradually becomes larger.As droplets compete for open pores,they coalesce to form larger droplets.These larger droplets separate more easily from the continuous phase fluid.The size and type of coalescer is determined by a variety of factors:physical properties of the fluid,flow rate, process conditions,and chemical compatibility with the process fluid and additives.
