Introduction

O-8440 parker velcon coalescing pleated filters are used in oil and gas machinery equipment filtration systems to remove water and dirt from oil, fuel and gas and to clean oil and gas products such as liquefied gas, diesel, industrial liquids and insulating oils for power facilities. The O-8440 coalescer filter works by passing the fuel through the coalescer from the outside to the inside. Dirt is filtered out of the fuel and free/emulsified water in the fuel is coalesced. Coalesced water droplets form inside the coalescer and are rejected by the separator and do not flow further downstream. The water settles to the sump where it is manually drained.

Filter Material:

We make O-8440 coalescing filters use a single unit structure to reduce the number of gaskets and improve overall reliability. O-8440 coalescer cartridge filter have one or more layers of pleated media inside molded fiberglass laminated cylinders to provide a larger particle filtration surface area. Use pleated ripples and separate materials to keep the pleats open for full use.
