DI-656D10TB parker velcon coalescer cartridge is used to remove particulate contaminants from hydrocarbon fuels and condense highly dispersed emulsified water particles to purify fuel oil. The DI-656D10TB DI series screw base end coalescer uses a single unit structure to reduce the number of gaskets and improve overall reliability. The all-glass fiber design has a continuous thinner dielectric layer to achieve deep filtration of particles.

DI-656D10TB Application:
DI-656D10TB coalescing filter element is mainly used for coalescing emulsified water and removing particles from hydrocarbon fluids. The biggest single application is filtration of aviation jet fuel. They are also used in other types of fuels, process flows in refineries and petrochemical plants, and condensate streams to produce natural gas.
Other liquids can be separated if they are immiscible,have different specific gravity,and do not present a high concentration of surface active.As a rule of thumb,if the mixture samples are easily separated within an hour or two,a coalescing device may be used.If the mixture does not separate after 24 hours, coalescence may not work.
Work principle:
DI-656D10TB high-efficiency coalescer merge small droplets of liquid into larger ones as the fluid stream passes through several layers of filter media,each with progressively larger pores.As droplets compete for the open pores,they coalesce forming larger droplets.These larger droplets are easier to separate from the continuous phase fluid.
The DI-656D10TB coalescer size and type are determined by numerous factors:physical properties of the fluid,flow rate,process conditions and chemical compatibility with process fluids and additives.
